Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Systems Integration Technician to join our team in Olathe, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete installation of various Commercial Electronic Security Systems, including Access Control Systems, CCTV/Video Monitoring, Intrusion Alarm Systems, ID Badge Systems, Intercoms/Emergency Phones, and Parking Control/Turnstiles. Your ability to engage with customers, vendors, and service providers will be essential in troubleshooting issues and identifying trends in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Emergency Phone, and Parking Revenue Systems.
- Collaborate with Customers, Vendors, and Contractors on-site to facilitate successful installations.
- Travel to job sites as directed by the manager, assess customer needs for installation or service/repair, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proactively seek and promote business opportunities for service, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts; develop product knowledge.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure job sites are clean and free of debris at the end of the workday.
- Complete job tickets and time sheets promptly to facilitate timely processing and payroll submission.
- Collect cash on delivery (COD) when applicable and report any issues regarding collection or changes in the scope of work.
- Manage inventory on the truck and maintain a thorough understanding of all parts and their specifications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and participate in emergency on-call rotations as projects require.
