We are seeking a Systems Engineer, not a traditional Mechanical Engineer III.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in the following functional competencies:

Roles & Responsibilities
[1] Translate business and user requirements into comprehensive system requirements.
[2] Formulate and execute the verification strategy while reviewing results to ensure compliance with system requirements.
[3] Develop and maintain the system design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), which informs module design FMEAs.
[4] Establish and manage the project database utilized for documenting outputs throughout the V-model process.
[5] Communicate V-model maturity status to management throughout the product development lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications
[1] Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
[2] A minimum of 2 years of experience in a product development environment, with a focus on requirements management, preferably using DOORS or a similar tool, and familiarity with product development compliant to Subpart C of the Quality System Regulation.
[3] At least 1 year of experience applying Design for Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
