About the Role:
Equip is on the lookout for a board-certified MD or DO in Family Medicine, or a dual board-certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) to join our dynamic clinical care team. This Direct Patient Care + Clinical Leadership position involves supporting patients aged 6-99 with eating disorders, all through a fully virtual Telehealth platform.
As a vital member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will collaborate closely with therapists, dietitians, peer mentors, and family mentors to guide children, adolescents, and adults towards recovery from eating disorders. This is a remote, full-time position with a competitive salary and flexible hours, prioritizing afternoon and early evening availability based on your time zone.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough medical assessments and provide evidence-based treatment for co-occurring medical conditions associated with eating disorders, while offering family support throughout the recovery process.
Collaborate with a diverse team to create personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
Utilize best practices in telehealth to ensure effective patient engagement and treatment adherence.
Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of eating disorder treatment.
