Superintendent of Operations, Monitoring, and Maintenance (OM&M)
Join Essel Environmental, a leader in innovative Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) services focused on sustainable solutions. As a Superintendent in our Operations, Monitoring, and Maintenance team, you will take charge of daily landfill site activities, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with scope, schedule, workforce, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Lead daily landfill operations to guarantee alignment with project scope, timelines, and financial parameters.
- Team Coordination: Oversee and manage onsite personnel, including Laborers, Equipment Operators, Field Technicians, Foremen, and Fusion Technicians.
- Client Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients through regular updates on progress and execution of directed tasks.
- Logistics Management: Establish accounts with local suppliers, develop crew schedules, and supervise equipment procurement and utilization.
- Personnel Management: Conduct interviews, hire, and manage team members as required by the Project Manager.
- Technical Expertise: Execute mechanical tasks, troubleshoot issues, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Health and Safety: Actively participate in monthly safety meetings and uphold health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Field Landfill Gas Operations, Monitoring, and Maintenance.
- Training: Completion of 40-hour Health and Safety training, OSHA certifications, and training in Confined Space Entry and Trench Excavation Safety.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical skills, problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in interpreting manuals and schematics, and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- License: Valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record.
