About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-focused Category Manager to join our Sourcing team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with various business units—including IT, Marketing, and Professional Services—guiding them through the entire sourcing lifecycle. You will spearhead impactful negotiations and develop a strong supplier ecosystem that can adapt to Miro’s rapid expansion. What You’ll Do
- Drive Category Strategy: Craft and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for IT, Marketing, Travel, and Professional Services to enhance value and minimize risk.
- End-to-End Sourcing: Oversee the complete RFP process, from identifying business needs and conducting market research to finalizing contracts.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, assisting them in identifying the best solutions while ensuring alignment with Miro’s financial and operational objectives.
- Master Negotiations: Negotiate complex commercial terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the broader S2P team to enhance our processes, making sourcing at Miro more streamlined and data-driven for everyone.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the primary liaison between our business units and internal experts, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
