Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Strategic Procurement Analyst II will engage with numerous internal stakeholders to implement efficient procurement practices. This role involves generating procurement requisitions, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing related spend reporting and management for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Foster relationships with current and prospective vendors, including Value Added Resellers and manufacturers.
Work collaboratively across departments to ensure a streamlined end-to-end procurement process, encompassing sourcing, evaluation frameworks, negotiation, contracting, and renewals.
Implement strategies aimed at cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality enhancements, and process efficiencies by understanding OpenGov’s demand for software/services, consolidating needs with end-users, and optimizing spend across various departments and suppliers.
Participate in monthly meetings with leadership stakeholders and functional teams.
Review reporting groups to ensure the successful completion of initiatives.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all hardware and software through an Asset Management system and an efficient procurement process, leveraging skills in asset management and OpenGov tools (e.g., SaaS Management).
Collaborate with various teams across the organization to support the procurement process for all software entering the corporate environment.
Act as the primary contact for procurement-related inquiries.
