Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Stores Coordinator I to become a key member of our team. This position is responsible for efficiently managing requests from various departments and ensuring their fulfillment based on item availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and deliver items from the storeroom based on picklists and requisitions.
- Organize stock in designated locations with appropriate labeling.
- Report any stock shortages or excesses promptly.
- Manually load and unload materials using pallets, benches, shelves, carts, or lifting devices.
- Operate forklifts and motorized pallet jacks safely.
- Remove scrap materials from the facility as needed.
- Assist at the receiving dock to gain experience in the process.
- Unload incoming shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Utilize various tools, including hand tools and manual machinery.
- Learn to navigate the Eriez labor and work order collection system.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Report any equipment damages or safety hazards to the manager.
- Embrace the 5S initiative and demonstrate a commitment to organization.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within expected timelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
