About the Role:
As a Store Manager at Monro, you will take on a pivotal salaried leadership role, guiding a dedicated team that includes General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and an Assistant Store Manager. Reporting directly to the District Manager, your primary responsibility will be to foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring exceptional service and support to both your team and our valued guests. You will play a key role in advancing Monro's commitment to being America's premier auto and tire service center, recognized by our guests as the go-to destination for quality automotive service and tires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and mentor sales and technical team members to deliver a consistent 5-star guest experience.
- Achieve and exceed sales goals by crafting effective sales strategies and maintaining an in-depth understanding of our products, services, and the automotive market.
- Promote tire and service products to guests, maximizing both sales and customer loyalty.
- Support your team in creating a productive sales atmosphere by providing training on shop operations and customer service practices.
- Guide technicians in performing services and repairs, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Oversee staffing requirements by managing recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of team members.
- Maintain budget control by monitoring payroll, utilities, supplies, and other operational expenses.
- Manage inventory effectively, including ordering, stocking, and organizing parts and tires.
- Conduct audits of courtesy inspections completed by team members.
- Ensure the store meets Monro's cleanliness and maintenance standards, always remaining guest-ready.
- Schedule appointments and assign tasks based on team members' skills for optimal service delivery.
- Drive sales performance by promoting tire and service offerings and special promotions.
- Address all guest inquiries related to sales, services, and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Foster strong guest relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist team members in articulating repair and service needs to guests.
