ABOUT THE TEAM
Within Anduril’s Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division, we focus on two primary objectives: the development of advanced autonomous drones and the production of reliable rocket motors at scale. We take innovative products like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from concept to fully operational systems by collaborating closely with specialized engineering and production teams. Our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team designs and manufactures cutting-edge solid rocket motors using advanced materials and proprietary techniques, ensuring safe and dependable propulsion systems for various mission profiles. We seek passionate software and hardware engineers eager to contribute to a diverse portfolio that spans autonomous aerial systems and high-performance propulsion technologies, all designed to perform reliably in the most challenging environments.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Systems Engineer to spearhead the development of an innovative relative navigation solution that integrates perception, tracking, and guidance for a new product at our Costa Mesa headquarters. In this role, you will lead the design, refinement, and implementation of guidance architecture that merges high-cost off-board sensing capabilities with low-cost onboard sensing solutions for both existing and future product variants. This position will require a solid understanding of state-of-the-art Computer Vision (CV) and Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) methodologies, along with a familiarity with firmware and electrical hardware components. As a critical member of our early-stage product development team, you will shape the platform's capabilities to ensure mission success on a scalable timeline.
