We are looking for a Staff Supplier Quality Manager to join our Supplier Quality Management team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and maintenance of our autonomous vehicle hardware, including Lidars, radars, cameras, and photonics technology suppliers. You will lead the establishment of quality requirements for sourced components, communicate these requirements to suppliers, and oversee the APQP and PPAP submissions from suppliers to Aurora.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Supplier Quality activities concerning Aurora's external hardware suppliers, focusing on quality developments and supplier manufacturing interactions (APQP/PPAP).
- Evaluate and develop new and existing suppliers, ensuring their capabilities align with ISO-9001, IATF-16949, and other relevant company standards and project specifications.
- Guide suppliers through the PPAP process, ensuring timely submission and approval of all necessary PPAP elements, documentation, validations, and samples.
- Conduct on-site assessments and audits of suppliers, providing actionable feedback to enhance performance and quality.
