Your Role:
Collaborate with field sales to demonstrate the value of the Kong API and Connectivity Management platform to our clients.
Analyze customer needs and illustrate how the Kong platform can meet those needs, fostering trusted relationships throughout the sales process.
Guide customers through the Proof of Concept (PoC) phase, ensuring a smooth evaluation process.
Maintain a commitment to customer satisfaction across your assigned accounts.
Identify customer priorities and liaise with support, product, and engineering teams to address their needs.
Develop technical documentation for DevOps implementations and service engagements.
Contribute to marketing efforts by writing blogs, hosting webinars, and participating in trade shows and events.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by your manager.
Your Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering or sales engineering management within a SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise Software environment.
In-depth knowledge of cloud computing trends and open source business models.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
A proven ability to lead discussions with Product Managers, Engineers, and Executives.
A strong enthusiasm for thriving in a dynamic startup culture.
Proficiency with Docker/Kubernetes and other cloud-native platforms.
Familiarity with APIs, CI/CD automation frameworks, as well as AI and LLM technologies.
