About the Role
This is a pioneering role where you will be the first Product Manager for our life sciences product line, tasked with defining our offerings, identifying target markets, and strategizing commercialization. You will collaborate closely with Abridge's clinical, machine learning, and commercial teams. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the life sciences sector.
This position is hybrid; candidates should be prepared to work from our New York City or San Francisco offices three times a week, or be open to relocation.
What You'll Do
Establish the life sciences product strategy and pinpoint the most valuable use cases.
Conduct discovery sessions with life sciences partners to grasp their workflows, data requirements, purchasing processes, and pricing considerations.
Lead the development of new products from conception to launch, collaborating with machine learning and engineering teams to define specifications.
Manage data strategy and compliance by coordinating with legal, clinical, and engineering teams to determine data usage parameters and create agreements that uphold customer trust.
Act as the internal authority on life sciences.
What You Bring
5-10+ years of product management experience, specifically in the life sciences domain, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, or health data analytics.
Experience in launching products from the ground up.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-functional partnerships.
