You will take charge of housing operations, addressing urgent maintenance issues with confidence and bringing clarity to a dynamic work environment.
Your role will require critical thinking, independence, and a focused approach to tasks. You excel in solving problems directly and calmly, with minimal supervision. Your responsibilities will range from repairs and inspections to prioritizing requests and planning preventative maintenance programs, ensuring our Heartists feel supported and valued in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations & Technical Work
- Conduct hands-on building maintenance including plumbing, mechanical tasks, general repairs, and seasonal duties like snow and ice removal using power equipment.
- Respond swiftly to routine and emergency maintenance requests, including heat loss, power outages, water leaks, and other urgent situations.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
Coordination, Scheduling & Oversight
- Review, prioritize, assign, and follow up on maintenance requests to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption.
- Coordinate and schedule contractors or internal support as needed.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with housing and safety standards.
Safety, Compliance & Reporting
- Adhere to all Rimrock safety, sanitation, and vehicle-handling policies.
- Accurately complete required documentation, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Operate hotel vehicles responsibly following established policies.
- Maintain safe working conditions for yourself and residents, including working in restricted spaces and varying weather conditions.
Resident Service & Housing Support
- Deliver professional, knowledgeable, and friendly service to residents and colleagues.
- Uphold all housing policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Communicate clearly and directly regarding housing concerns, expectations, or maintenance outcomes.
- Support general housing operations through additional duties as assigned.
