Join our dynamic team as a Spring Seasonal Naturalist at the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center! We are seeking enthusiastic, educated, and professional individuals to inspire young minds while adhering to common core science standards. Located in beautiful Orange County, CA, you will engage students in various scientific disciplines, including life science, physical science, and earth science.
As a Naturalist, you will conduct hands-on experiments, utilize telescopes, and explore our garden, as well as participate in exciting activities like hiking, archery, zip lining, rock climbing, and navigating our challenge course. All training is provided and compensated before students arrive.
This residential camp position requires staff to work five full days a week, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional night chaperoning responsibilities. We're looking for dedicated individuals to join us through June, with a starting pay of $400 per week. You will enjoy dorm-style housing (rent-free), access to a common room equipped with two refrigerators, WiFi, satellite TV, and a kitchenette. Meals provided for students will also be available to our Naturalists.
