Reporting Structure
The Solar Field Service Technician will report directly to the Team Lead of Service Operations.
Role Overview
At Palmetto, we believe that customer satisfaction extends beyond swift installations; it hinges on delivering the expected value from solar systems. The Solar Field Service Technician plays a vital role in fulfilling this commitment, collaborating with the Services team to swiftly and professionally address system performance issues. As a versatile team member, you will support various functions including Service, Installation, Job Closeout, and Permitting/Inspection, becoming the primary contact for ongoing service needs throughout the lifespan of our customers' solar systems, thus fostering strong, long-lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site troubleshooting and repair services for solar systems.
- Document visits and complete job closeout reports effectively.
- Schedule site visits directly with clients as necessary.
- Collaborate with local field teams and central scheduling to optimize resolution times.
- Provide constructive feedback to field team leadership to promote continuous improvement.
