About This Role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager who embodies our core values: leading by example, demonstrating ownership, collaborating as one team with a relentless focus, and embracing continuous learning. You should have substantial knowledge in areas such as software architecture and project management and a strong commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and advancements. Proficiency in React, GraphQL, Typescript, CSS, Next.js (or similar frameworks), Webpack, NPM, and MobX (or similar frameworks) is essential, along with a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects across diverse teams, driving results through analytical problem-solving, systems thinking, decision-making, and active listening.
Beyond management, you are expected to inspire your team. In this position, you will tackle complex challenges, guide your team through projects with uncertain parameters, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Your role will also involve translating technical complexities to stakeholders and advocating for your team's interests.
At Udemy, we live by the principle of 'we are always learning', which reflects our dedication to continuous improvement and personal growth.
