As a Software Engineer specializing in Test Platforms, you will be instrumental in developing the tools that support our testing and verification processes, ensuring the safety and reliability of our aviation products. Additionally, you will contribute to crafting a high-fidelity training environment for our flight-test teams.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will shape integrated verification procedures to affirm that our flight application software meets rigorous design and performance standards. You will play a vital role in the release and verification processes for flight software, a core aspect of our flight test program. Collaborating in a dynamic environment, you will coordinate with various engineering teams as you develop test plans, execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate prompt resolutions. Furthermore, you will have opportunities to create automated test frameworks, build analytical test tools, and enhance our hardware-in-the-loop testing capabilities. This is a hands-on position, requiring maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of test and simulation equipment.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in object-oriented Python development
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in object-oriented C++ development
At least 2 years of experience in testing integrated hardware/software products or mission-critical systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in robotics or other safety-critical software domains
Familiarity with developing automated test cases using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Travis CI, or similar CI/CD tools
Proven capability in building or maintaining hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) test environments
