About the Role:
As our user base continues to grow exponentially, ensuring the security and reliability of our platform is our utmost priority. We are seeking a pioneering member to join our elite security engineering team, dedicated to safeguarding our platform and user data. In this pivotal role, you will become one of Notion’s foremost security specialists, comprehensively understanding our product's attack surface and collaborating across various teams to enhance its security.
What You'll Achieve:
Mentor engineers on secure software design and architecture, fostering growth within the engineering organization.
Build a robust security foundation that instills trust among our users, facilitating Notion’s business growth.
Design and implement an efficient software development lifecycle that balances vulnerability detection with development speed.
Act as a liaison among stakeholders in product, engineering, market strategy, and security compliance to prioritize strategic security investments.
Engage in security assessments, advising on internal and customer security and privacy requirements (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, penetration testing).
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
Security Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in constructing systems that secure and monitor cloud architectures. Ability to contribute directly to our main codebase to enhance security system design and mitigate vulnerabilities, with experience in several of the following areas:
