Join Les Schwab as a Software Engineer II and take the lead in shaping our technical assets. This role is pivotal in designing and developing innovative solutions to meet our business objectives. The scope of this position spans various technical domains, requiring a strong understanding of specific technologies. As a Software Engineer II, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your area of focus, supporting a diverse range of technologies and domains within our organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Solution Development:
- Designing, developing, and implementing solutions, including custom applications and complex orchestrations.
- Responding to business requests by leveraging appropriate tools and technologies.
- Identifying and confirming approaches to meet business needs while ensuring proper controls are in place.
- Documenting enterprise artifacts and assisting in artifact management as needed.
- Enhancing solution architecture in alignment with the Les Schwab Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Defining and governing standards for implemented solutions.
Operational Support:
- Provide level 2/level 3 support through incident resolution as needed.
- Identifying and resolving solution-related issues, including code and data challenges.
- Performing root cause analysis and addressing production issues.
- Responding to inquiries and suggestions from other teams.
- Supporting investigation and resolution of incidents, ensuring proper documentation for future reference.
Solution Architecture:
- Evaluating technology improvements to meet business needs and managing the technical lifecycle of solutions.
- Establishing and refining the solution architecture in accordance with Les Schwab’s methodologies.
- Defining standards, policies, and procedures for effective solution architecture.
