Lead a High-Performing Team During Your Shift
- Establish a positive atmosphere with an enthusiastic, can-do spirit that energizes your team
- Provide clear guidance and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling as needed
- Mentor team members in real-time, offering support and direction throughout every shift
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues when necessary
Drive Operational Excellence
- Educate and direct your team to adhere to RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure effective inventory management, vendor check-in, and communication of promotions
- Supervise vital store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation
- Facilitate shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day
Exemplify Communication & Accountability
- Communicate critical updates from the leadership team to shift associates efficiently
- Track task completion and provide instant feedback to enhance results
- Encourage a team culture built on accountability, respect, and collaboration
- Proactively engage during peak times or challenges, demonstrating exemplary leadership
What We’re Seeking
- 2-3 years of experience in retail, restaurant, or food service (preferred)
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused settings
- Capability to follow through on tasks and coach others effectively
- Exceptional communication and team-building skills
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (completed or in progress)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
