As a Hourly Shift Coordinator (HSC) at Burger King, you'll take the reins as the Shift Leader in our bustling restaurant environment, ensuring we hit our sales and profit goals while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) and Assistant Manager (AM) by overseeing restaurant operations during your shifts and driving key performance metrics related to sales, profitability, guest service, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all cash control and security protocols (e.g., safe counting, cash drawer management)
- Conduct daily and weekly inventory checks to maintain stock levels
- Manage the receipt of inventory truck orders
- Inspire Team Members to surpass guest expectations through prompt, friendly service in a clean environment
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and capability
- Lead by example, diligently implementing the shift plan to achieve operational results
- Ensure efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products, adhering to speed of service standards
- Encourage Team Members at workstations throughout the shift
- Analyze restaurant performance to identify successes and areas for growth
- Uphold operational and brand standards across the restaurant
- Assist in Team Member duties as required
Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
- High School Diploma or GED is required; two years of college education is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant setting
- Proven understanding of guest service principles
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work long and/or irregular shifts as necessary for operational efficiency
