What You’ll Do
Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift
- Establish a positive, can-do atmosphere that inspires your team
- Provide clear guidance and step in to assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling as needed
- Coach team members in real-time, providing support and direction during every shift
- Handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when appropriate
Drive Operational Excellence
- Train and guide your team in meeting RaceTrac’s standards for guest service, food safety, and cleanliness
- Ensure effective management of inventory, vendor check-ins, and promotional communications
- Oversee essential store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation
- Facilitate shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day
Model Communication & Accountability
- Clearly communicate important updates from leadership to shift associates
- Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to enhance results
- Foster a team culture founded on accountability, respect, and collaboration
- Proactively step in during busy periods or challenges—demonstrating exemplary leadership
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in retail, restaurant, or food service (preferred)
- 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments
- Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others effectively
- Strong communication and team-building skills
Must Haves for this Role
- High School Diploma or GED (completed or in progress)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
