About the job
Are you a seasoned sewing expert with practical experience in operating sewing machines, managing production lines, and garment assembly? Join us in influencing the future of AI as it learns to understand manufacturing processes. As AI increasingly models factory operations, the accuracy of these systems relies heavily on real-world training data provided by professionals like you.
We are on the lookout for Sewing Specialists who possess extensive hands-on experience in sewing machine operation and garment production line workflows. This role requires familiarity with sewing line operations, task flows between various stations, and multi-functional manufacturing processes that enhance material movement and production efficiency. Your insights will help challenge AI models through realistic sewing and assembly scenarios that encompass machine operation, workflow coordination, production pacing, and resolving common operational challenges on the factory floor.
On a daily basis, you will interact with the AI model by validating its understanding of sewing operations, evaluating descriptions of machine usage and line coordination, analyzing workflow inefficiencies and errors, documenting gaps in the model's comprehension, and providing constructive feedback to enhance the AI’s reasoning about garment production tasks.
We value general sewing and garment manufacturing expertise, including familiarity with industrial sewing machines and assembly line processes. While formal education is not a prerequisite, practical experience in sewing, sewing line management, or factory floor support is highly esteemed. Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate the realities of sewing operations in production environments are crucial for success in this role.
Are you ready to leverage your sewing and production line expertise to shape the knowledge base for tomorrow’s AI? Apply now and help us educate the model on the authentic processes behind garment production.
We offer competitive pay ranging from $6 to $15 per hour, with the specific rate determined based on your experience, expertise, and location. Please note that as a contractor, you will need to provide your own secure computer and high-speed internet; company-sponsored benefits, such as health insurance and PTO, do not apply.
