Join our dynamic team as a Service Sales Representative within the Industrial Service & Equipment sector, located in Warrington. In this pivotal role, you will manage and respond to inquiries generated both internally and externally from our valued new and existing clients.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify customer needs and requirements, providing follow-up quotes and reports. A successful candidate will possess a robust technical background, enabling effective consultation aligned with Konecranes' core values. You will assist customers in developing short, medium, and long-term investment plans that align with their business objectives and budgetary considerations.
This position is ideal for individuals with in-depth knowledge of Konecranes products and services, as well as familiarity with our processes and customer base, which will significantly contribute to your success. This position reports directly to the UK Service Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify and strategize sales efforts for new leads from both internal and external sources.
- Maintain, review, and update the CRM sales funnel for coaching sessions and to support district management with order intake forecasts at mid-month and month-end.
- Assess customer requirements and promote Konecranes solutions tailored to their needs, including gathering technical drawings and specifications for accurate quotation preparation.
- Collaborate with Konecranes' commercial negotiator and customers' commercial teams to negotiate terms and finalize contracts and purchase orders before acceptance.
- Prepare detailed specifications, scopes of work, and cost estimates for seamless handover to the district project delivery team.
- Engage in Business Reviews, offering technical sales insights to district management to enhance customer safety and productivity.
- Communicate regularly with engineers, managers, customers, and stakeholders regarding sales opportunities and negotiations to secure contracts.
