About the Role:
Pavago is on the lookout for a talented SEO Specialist who will play a pivotal role in enhancing online visibility, boosting organic search rankings, and driving inbound traffic. This position demands a strong foundation in technical SEO, comprehensive keyword research, content optimization, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will ensure that our websites are optimized for search engines, user-friendly, and consistently improving in authority and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough keyword research utilizing tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner, aligning keywords with user intent and buyer journey stages, and developing content strategies that support organic growth objectives.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize metadata, headings, schema markup, and internal linking, ensuring content is SEO-friendly while preserving readability and brand tone. Perform content gap analyses and suggest new pages or blog topics.
- Technical SEO: Conduct site audits employing tools such as Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or SEMrush; identify and rectify crawl errors, indexation challenges, duplicate content, and broken links; enhance Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance, and manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonicalization.
- Off-Page SEO & Link Building: Create ethical link-building strategies including guest posting, PR outreach, and partnerships while monitoring backlink profiles for toxic links and disavowing when necessary.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics through Google Analytics and Google Search Console; build dashboards in Data Studio, Looker, or Power BI; and provide stakeholders with weekly/monthly reports containing actionable insights.
- Collaboration: Work closely with content writers, developers, and marketing teams to implement SEO strategies and provide SEO input during website redesigns, migrations, and product launches.
