Job Summary
As a Senior Technical Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and assessing the learning needs of various stakeholders. You will design, develop, implement, and continuously enhance learning resources, courses, eLearning modules, and instructional videos tailored for our employees. Your responsibilities will include conducting new hire training sessions and a comprehensive schedule of ongoing education aimed at meeting the evolving needs of our attorneys and staff. Additionally, there will be opportunities to co-facilitate and deliver train-the-trainer workshops. You will also contribute to enhancing our technology training curricula, preparing documentation, and providing technical customer support.
Job Responsibilities
- Train new employees on the firm’s technology, including application usage, remote access, and telephone/voicemail systems.
- Lead the creation of written training curricula and related materials for both current and new technology initiatives, collaborating with other IS trainers to develop and maintain reference guides and documentation.
- Deliver user-focused training through various methods, including instructor-led sessions, one-on-one coaching, demonstrations, webinars, micro-videos, and eLearning modules across all offices.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate current and future needs in IT training, recommending corresponding goals, objectives, and priorities.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training delivery and content, maintaining records and preparing relevant reports.
- Research, design, develop, and manage course descriptions, materials, user documentation, FAQs, online learning resources, class schedules, user registration, evaluation criteria, learning paths, and attendance records using the firm’s learning management system.
- Assess and recommend new or upgraded hardware and software solutions to meet attorney and staff needs.
- Coordinate training registration, scheduling, and material production.
- Resolve and document client requests for assistance regarding hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies in compliance with service level agreements.
