About the job
As a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner at vCluster Labs, you are not merely filling positions; you are the architect of our engineering team. This pivotal role allows you to be the main representative to the technical community, identifying and attracting the innovators who will define the future of Kubernetes virtualization.
You will collaborate directly with Engineering and Product leadership to implement a contemporary, data-driven hiring approach that emphasizes speed and accuracy over sheer volume.
Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-End Technical Recruiting: Manage the complete hiring process for Engineering, Product, and Technical roles on a global scale. You will guide candidates from the initial screening to the offer stage, ensuring a smooth experience.
Proactive Sourcing: Actively seek and engage passive talent from the open-source, Kubernetes, and developer tool domains. You will cultivate high-quality talent pipelines, reducing reliance on inbound applications for critical technical positions.
Data-Driven Recruiting: Champion our structured interview framework. You will ensure effective use of scorecards to minimize bias, maintaining precise data integrity within our ATS (Ashby) to guide hiring decisions.
Exceptional Candidate Experience: Foster an outstanding experience through transparent communication. You will treat candidates with a focus on speed, ensuring decisions are made within days rather than months.
Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with Hiring Managers to establish technical requirements and ideal candidate profiles, transitioning from merely fulfilling requests to providing insightful consultancy on market trends and closing strategies.
This role could be ideal for you if you possess:
Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, specifically focused on technical roles such as Software Engineering, DevOps/Platform, and Product within a fast-paced tech startup environment.
Technical Understanding: You are fluent in technical terminology and concepts. You recognize the distinctions between a container and a cluster, and you are adept at discussing technologies like Kubernetes, Go, and Terraform with candidates.
A Builder Mindset: You thrive in ambiguous environments and take pleasure in refining processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
