Ripple is on the lookout for a seasoned Staff Technical Writer to become a pivotal member of our documentation team, specializing in advanced payment products. You will play a crucial role in defining the customer integration experience through meticulous documentation.
This role is a great match if you are excited by:
- Becoming the "first user"—immersing yourself in the product to thoroughly test APIs and guarantee documentation precision.
- Facilitating successful customer adoption through clear and comprehensive integration guides.
- Working within a "docs-as-code" framework, managing documentation alongside engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced setting and possess a proven history of documenting intricate APIs and user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- API and UI Documentation: Create and sustain detailed reference and conceptual documentation for our payments platform, encompassing REST, gRPC, and FIX protocols, as well as web/application UIs.
- Docs-as-Code & Tooling: Manage documentation within a docs-as-code workflow, utilizing Git for version control, and leverage platforms like Redocly for API specification and documentation generation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Scalability: Enhance and develop documentation tools and automation to effectively support our growing product suite.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Partner Engineers to collect technical information and establish documentation standards.
