The Role:
Monarch is looking for a highly skilled Mobile Product Engineer to play a crucial role as we expand our personal finance platform. You will be responsible for the entire mobile experience—from designing new features to enhancing mobile performance—making a direct impact on how over a million users handle their financial lives daily.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to develop and refine Monarch’s key mobile features (iOS/Android), such as Budgeting, Goals, and Assistant functionalities.
Set mobile engineering best practices, maintain code quality standards, and establish development processes that facilitate rapid iteration while ensuring product reliability.
Provide mentorship to fellow engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
Contribute to shaping our long-term mobile technical roadmaps.
What You’ll Bring:
A minimum of 4 years of mobile development experience, with at least 2 years in React Native/TypeScript, alongside proficiency in either native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
A product-centric mindset, with a commitment to creating experiences that users love.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical team members.
A strong sense of ownership, seeing projects through from initial concept to post-launch monitoring.
Nice to Haves:
Experience in developing fintech or consumer-focused applications.
