About the Team
Within our Infrastructure Engineering department, the Cloud Reliability team serves as the backbone of our services, significantly impacting customer experience and the workflow of our engineers. Our primary goal is to empower our developers through self-service capabilities, automate our infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our services. As a member of the Cloud Reliability team, you will collaborate directly with development teams, guiding them to enhance their effectiveness in delivering infrastructure solutions.
About the Role
As a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer on the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in automating and scaling the systems and services that power our streaming platform. You will collaborate with the DevOps team and delivery teams, leading projects that focus on infrastructure automation, scaling, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CICD). Your responsibilities include ensuring adherence to platform processes, automation best practices, and facilitating high-quality software delivery. You will work closely with other engineers to develop tools and systems that support our services and enhance our architecture and infrastructure. Your collaborative spirit will enable you to understand cross-team needs, establish best practices, and automate those practices wherever possible. Additionally, you will partner with development teams to grasp their requirements and assist them in their technological journey.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Cloud Reliability within Infrastructure Engineering. We are currently considering applicants for our Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA offices. Our team operates on a hybrid schedule, with three days in the office each week.
