The Solutions Engineering Team - This is a customer-facing sales role. Candidates must be located in the USA and be US citizens, with travel required at least 25% of the time, including attendance at an in-person onboarding session.
The Global Presales organization at Okta combines a diverse range of experts, including Solutions Engineers, the Office of the Field CTO, and Architects, who blend deep technical knowledge with strategic business acumen. This team acts as trusted advisors to our customers and partners, helping them fully leverage Okta’s Identity Platform. Solutions Engineer Opportunity at Okta
As a Solutions Engineer reporting to the Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering, you will be integral to our presales team, responsible for delivering impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations. You will guide customers on implementing Okta’s customer identity and access management solutions effectively.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Customer Engagement:
- Facilitate strategic conversations with technical and engineering leaders and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, industry best practices, and identity-driven digital transformations.
- Assist in crafting executive-level messaging and contribute to strategic discussions by aligning Okta’s solutions with customer business outcomes.
- Develop customer-focused perspectives that translate Okta’s offerings into actionable solutions for client challenges.
- Lead in-depth technical Q&A discovery sessions for prospective clients.
