As a vital member of our New Relic Solutions Consulting (NRSC) team, you will delve into clients’ business challenges and technical landscapes through in-depth engagement. You will present technology solutions designed to address these challenges, establishing confidence in the New Relic platform through value alignment and clear differentiation. As the domain expert on New Relic, you will drive the ‘Technical Win’ by overcoming technical objections during the sales cycle, leveraging your technology skills and business acumen to convey clear business value.
Your role will involve driving revenue for our New Relic platform, supported by collaboration with Sales, Product Management, and our executive team. This position requires a hands-on Solutions Consultant capable of extensive solution positioning, differentiation, and value articulation during sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
You will act as the Technical lead for New Relic prospects and customers, owning the technical strategic direction in accounts. Your role involves the advanced capability to develop, position, and deliver product-centric and value-centric solutions throughout the sales cycles, while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for your assigned territory. This role emphasizes collaboration with Sales Account Executives to generate new revenue by taking technical ownership of opportunities during the sales cycles for new prospects and exploring expansion into new groups or capabilities for existing customers.
The Solutions Consultant must exhibit a winning combination of business and technical skills, the ability to present and demonstrate our solutions to a diverse audience, and the capacity to build strong relationships while managing technical objections throughout the sales cycle. Ultimately, the Solutions Consultant needs to be a trusted advisor to both internal partners and our technical customers.
