- Lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications utilizing the Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++ as necessary.
- Establish and uphold best practices for Windows desktop application development, focusing on code architecture, performance optimization, memory management, responsive design, and cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+).
- Champion accessibility initiatives by integrating and validating support for accessibility APIs, ensuring compliance with UI controls, keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen-reader compatibility.
- Collaborate extensively with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and other stakeholders to influence feature planning, UI/UX design, and the long-term strategic roadmap for the Windows platform.
- Take full ownership of the feature lifecycle, from conception to release and ongoing maintenance, ensuring high quality and reliability throughout.
- Diagnose and resolve complex bugs, performance issues, and compatibility challenges, proposing robust architectural solutions where necessary.
