About the job
About AuthZed:
At AuthZed, we are at the forefront of developing open-source authorization solutions tailored for businesses navigating complex end-user permission systems within zero-trust architectures. Our flagship product, SpiceDB, stands as the most advanced open-source permissions database, taking inspiration from Google's Zanzibar system. We are dedicated to creating managed services that provide planet-scale production authorization capabilities.
Our strategic fundraising efforts have allowed us to effectively leverage our $3.9M seed funding, leading to the development of SpiceDB as the open-source standard in authorization database technology. This achievement has solidified our reputation as experts in authorization, fostered a thriving open-source community, and facilitated robust revenue growth through our enterprise solutions.
AuthZed operates as a fully remote company, employing talented individuals across the United States and Europe. Our culture emphasizes hard work and a software-driven ethos; even our sales team is well-versed in our technology. We uphold integrity in all interactions, cultivating trust and respect for every team member's voice.
Company Values:
- Agency: We believe in empowering everyone to enact positive changes within our business and products. Our processes are designed to clarify our goals without limiting the methods of achieving them.
- Collaboration: Success is multi-faceted, and no single person can excel in every area. Valuing diverse opinions, finding compromises, and nurturing mutual trust and respect are essential for optimal solutions.
- Open-mindedness: We encourage questioning assumptions and challenging biases to avoid echo chambers. Embracing diverse perspectives fosters an inclusive and enriching workplace.
