As a vital member of Heirloom Carbon's innovative software team, you will play a crucial role in developing, operating, and maintaining the software systems essential for large-scale carbon removal. Your efforts will help orchestrate and enhance our accelerated looping process, push the boundaries of Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology, and ensure the establishment of reliable, auditable operations through advanced digital solutions. Your contributions will be pivotal in building sustainable systems that will serve our mission for years to come, directly impacting our goal to remove 1 billion tons of CO2 from the atmosphere.
In this position, you will implement automation and integration principles while driving continuous improvement to ensure our software systems provide the insights necessary for efficient scaling. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance of tools supporting our R&D initiatives, as well as applications designed for both pilot and commercial DAC facilities. Expect to tackle a variety of technical challenges and keep pace with the rapidly evolving software tools utilized in our discipline. Collaborating with a team of exceptional software engineers, product managers, and systems engineers, you will be dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions that foster a more sustainable future for all.
