About this Role:
We are seeking a Senior SEO Manager to spearhead Later’s organic growth initiatives and drive measurable results in demand generation. In this dual role, you will be a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor—crafting and implementing SEO strategies that enhance qualified traffic, boost conversion rates, and reinforce Later’s prominence in the creator and social media landscape.
Reporting directly to the VP of Demand Generation, you will take ownership of Later’s SEO roadmap, collaborate cross-functionally with Web, Product Marketing, and Content teams, and establish rigorous standards for both technical and content-focused SEO execution. This pivotal, high-visibility position spans all business lines (Later Influence, Later Social, and Mavely) and directly influences revenue growth while providing frequent interaction with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development
- Lead the comprehensive SEO strategy encompassing technical, on-page, content, off-site, and AI search to foster sustainable, high-quality organic growth across all business lines.
- Establish SEO objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting frameworks that align performance with revenue expansion.
- Deliver actionable insights to the Demand Generation team, broader marketing group, and senior leadership regarding trends, opportunities, and performance metrics.
Technical Execution
- Oversee keyword research, identify content gaps, evaluate SERP opportunities, and explore AI search avenues to inform actionable strategies.
- Develop and present SEO-driven content strategies that align with business objectives.
