Position Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished and strategic Senior Security Engineer to enhance and develop our enterprise security capabilities within the broader IT Operations team. This pivotal role encompasses securing cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, applications, endpoints, identity systems, and core operational settings.
The Senior Security Engineer will collaborate with Infrastructure, Engineering, Compliance, QA, IT Operations, and external security service providers to proactively mitigate risks while fostering business growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Infrastructure and Information Security, with a dotted-line relationship to the CISO, this position ensures strategic alignment, governance oversight, and direction for the security program.
This role serves as the principal technical authority for security incident response, coordinating internal response teams and engaging third-party incident response partners when necessary, leading containment and recovery efforts during active security incidents. Candidates must be prepared to manage security incidents outside of regular business hours as needed.
This is a hands-on senior engineering position with responsibilities for architectural ownership, oversight of external partners, and mentorship of junior team members.
