Become part of a united team focused on the common goal of building a better future. We are looking for a Senior Risk Consultant to enhance our growing team in our Bristol office, with opportunities to collaborate in London, Manchester, or Birmingham.
In this role, you will spearhead Risk Management solutions for AECOM’s major infrastructure projects across various sectors, working closely with senior stakeholders and teams to assess risk exposure, enforce governance, and support informed decision-making.
As part of our established Integrated Programme Controls team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse capital projects across the UK and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective risk management implementation.
- Contribute risk management insights to bids and proposals for new business acquisition.
- Conduct risk assurance checks to uphold project and programme quality.
- Communicate essential risk management data to senior leadership.
- Generate detailed risk reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Provide coaching and mentorship in risk management best practices.
- Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks.
- Create comprehensive Risk Registers, Risk Management Plans, and Risk Mitigation Plans.
- Perform Quantitative Risk Analysis (QCRA and QSRA) using techniques like Monte Carlo simulation to determine project contingencies.
- Design and implement risk management frameworks for projects and programmes.
- Support cost, scheduling, project controls, and change management teams as needed.
