Senior Systems Engineer – LTAMDS Radar
Location: Tewksbury, MA
Schedule: Full Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $125,000 - negotiable based on experience
Hours: 40 hours/week - 12-month contract
Clearance: Must have active Secret Clearance (DoD)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and full life-cycle management of the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) radar. This position requires hands-on systems engineering skills across requirements development, integration, testing, verification, and performance analysis in both simulated and real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define system requirements, algorithms, operational concepts, and establish system interfaces.
- Create and implement test plans, procedures, and documentation for integration and verification in both simulated and operational environments.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system-level issues through comprehensive data analysis and debugging.
- Develop and execute models to forecast system performance and facilitate verification and validation efforts.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and assess their functionality and performance implications.
- Draft integration documentation, carry out integration plans, analyze outcomes, and affirm system requirements.
- Clearly communicate technical findings, risks, and results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Conduct statistical and numerical analyses of radar systems.
