About the job
Why Choose voize?
At voize, we recognize that time is the most valuable gift we can offer frontline workers — time to care, connect, and be present. Unfortunately, much of that time is consumed by administrative tasks that distract nurses from what truly matters: the people they serve.
We are committed to changing this narrative by developing an AI companion designed to relieve nurses from administrative burdens, restoring up to 30% of their time. Our AI does not replace human touch; it enhances and amplifies their influence. Currently, over 1,500 care facilities trust voize, and more than 150,000 nurses depend on our AI companion to streamline their daily responsibilities.
Our mission is steadfastly supported by a $50M Series A investment led by Balderton Capital, alongside HV Capital, Y Combinator, and other premier venture capital firms.
As a rapidly expanding organization, we merge cutting-edge technology with a significant social impact. Join us on this transformative journey!
Your Mission: Build Automated Confidence at Scale
As a Quality Enablement Engineer, your role is to shift quality assurance from a reactive, manual process to a proactive, efficient feedback system owned by engineering teams. By designing and implementing quality mechanisms early in the development cycle, you empower teams to make safe, evidence-based decisions, ensuring that every code update is deployed with confidence, speed, and without regressions on critical integrations.
Your Daily Responsibilities - Embrace the Variety
Create and implement rapid feedback loops (tests, pipelines, observability) that provide engineers with insights in minutes rather than hours.
Develop and refine “Golden Path” test templates (contract, component, integration) for easy adoption by teams.
Formulate risk-based testing strategies by pinpointing critical features that must remain intact and targeting quality efforts where they are most impactful.
Empower teams through coaching, documentation, and collaborative hands-on engagement to integrate quality directly into their workflows.
Work alongside Engineering, Support, and external testing partners to close feedback loops and enhance release confidence continuously.
Your Skillset - What You Bring
Strong sociotechnical systems thinking: you perceive quality as the interaction between people, code, pipelines, and data — not merely a final phase in the process.
Hands-on experience in constructing dependable feedback systems (tests, CI/CD pipelines, canaries, observability, evaluation harnesses).
Proficient in programming and automation tools, with a focus on enhancing quality at every stage of development.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective engagement with cross-functional teams.
