As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Catapult, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our web and mobile software products through meticulous QA planning and testing activities. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute automated System and Integration tests for all software products throughout various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product Management, and Customer Support, to troubleshoot issues and foster a 'QA-first' mindset across the organization.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts focusing on communication/API layers.
- Defining a comprehensive long-term strategy for the QA team, aligned with company-wide priorities and customer needs while considering technical constraints.
- Working alongside developers and product management to enhance product quality and pinpoint areas requiring attention.
- Collaborating with developers to identify testability challenges within applications.
- Documenting and executing manual tests for features that cannot be automated.
- Assessing if features are complete and ready for production deployment.
- Providing timely feedback on requirements specifications and technical design documents from a QA perspective.
- Staying abreast of evolving trends in Quality Engineering and driving innovation through experimentation with new tools and processes.
- Managing quality on significant greenfield projects and major refactoring efforts.
