The Senior Project Manager will be pivotal in supporting the development and commercial leadership by executing the strategic vision for a key therapeutic program. You will ensure alignment with PMO best practices and broader business strategies. This role entails managing cross-functional teams to effectively plan and execute drug development initiatives. You will oversee a late-stage high-priority program from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. The Senior Project Manager will closely collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement solutions, project strategies, budget management, and achieve objectives on schedule, while ensuring robust communication and alignment among stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all elements of the product development plan, including activity planning, budgeting, schedule adherence, resource allocation, and milestone reporting.
- Engage senior leadership to define project strategies and objectives while leading complex, multi-faceted projects across various functional areas.
- Ensure project goals align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Maintain internal Project Management software (SmartSheet) with consistent accuracy in scheduling, risk assessment, and team data integrity.
- Collaborate with the Project Team to develop, maintain, and report all project schedule information and baselines using standardized dashboard reporting.
- Facilitate regular project update meetings with the Project Teams.
- Quantify cost and schedule adjustments for change management submissions.
- Contribute to integrated project teams within a matrixed organization.
- Develop and manage essential cross-functional reporting relationships to ensure project information is traceable to other systems.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues to mitigate impact on timelines and deliverables.
