Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Project Management Support Specialist to become a vital member of our innovative team at pm2cm. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in coordinating and facilitating the successful execution of significant company projects and initiatives. Working closely with Project Managers, you will ensure the smooth integration of activities, resources, and information required for project success. Your responsibilities will include maintaining comprehensive project plans, generating detailed reports, and managing technical documentation while serving as a key communication conduit for project teams, promoting effective collaboration and coordination.
Your role will extend to contributing significantly to the planning, tracking, and management of various internal projects, including complex, multi-year initiatives that span multiple organizational units such as Finance, Regulatory, Human Resources, Engineering, Transmission & Distribution, Legal, Customer Support, and Administrative Services. Furthermore, you will engage in diverse projects ranging from construction and infrastructure investment to the development of new facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate project activities, monitor progress, and uphold project documentation.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Assist in the formulation of project, resource, and staffing plans, securing the necessary resources.
- Monitor and report on project progress, proactively resolving any emerging issues.
- Ensure that project outcomes meet established criteria for technical quality, reliability, scheduling, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate performance and recommend adjustments to schedules, costs, or resources as needed.
- Assess the impact of changes on project status, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to build consensus during key decision-making processes.
- Oversee the development and execution of critical deliverables, presentations, and essential project documentation.
- Lead project activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Flexibility to travel throughout the service territory as needed to support project meetings and deliverables.
