Turner & Townsend is on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Senior Project Controls Manager to become a key part of our expanding team. The successful candidate will be a driven construction professional with proven expertise in managing project controls related to cost and scheduling for large-scale construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee project control processes and procedures effectively.
Manage cost and change control, including the evaluation of change orders, negotiations, and delay analyses.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to monitor and assess change orders.
Oversee the management of contingency draws.
Ensure accurate budget management and tracking.
Process, track, and report on invoice and payment applications.
Update and maintain the owner’s cost tracking software.
Coordinate weekly progress reports with the General Contractor.
Generate monthly reports for management review.
Prepare review and earned value reports.
Evaluate General Contractor’s cost tracking reports.
Partner with project managers to develop and refine RFP/SOW/change order templates and assist in the creation of service agreements as required.
Monitor proposals, reviews, and negotiations to ensure the timely execution of contracts and purchase orders.
Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and the commodity management team to formulate equipment delivery plans.
Maintain oversight of proposal reviews, negotiations, and contract execution while ensuring supplier delivery aligns with project demands.
Provide reports on the status of open SOWs that have been active for extended periods.
Assist in the closure of POs at project completion and track work order statuses.
Regularly review financial reporting for compliance with budgetary targets and reconciliation of project charges against approved contracts.
Reconcile actual costs with GMP/Schedule of Values.
Administer contracts, including retention, terms and conditions, insurance, allowances, contingencies, and incentives.
Compile as-built cost estimates for benchmarking purposes.
Maintain cost benchmarking databases.
Manage on-site records and document control.
