⭐ Role Overview
This is a senior, hands-on Product Marketing position that plays a crucial role in our growth strategy.
You will take charge of how Resource Guru is positioned, packaged, and communicated, transforming product capabilities into meaningful customer value. Collaborating closely with Product, Design, Sales, Customer Success, and the founders, you will help shape our narrative, drive user adoption, and foster revenue growth.
This role is part of our growth department, which encompasses sales and marketing. Initially, you’ll report directly to Percy (co-founder) and engage daily with the broader team. Over time, you may transition to reporting directly to the Head of Growth.
We seek a candidate who thrives in uncertain environments, enjoys building from the ground up, and effectively balances strategic vision with practical execution in a small SaaS context.
As a highly organized and decisive individual, you will prioritize efficiently, maintain simplicity, and focus on results. This role values clarity in thought and delivery over excessive documentation or redundant processes.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks may include (but are not limited to):
Product Positioning & Messaging
Establish the strategic foundations:
- Define and refine ideal customer profiles and segmentation to sharpen GTM efforts.
- Oversee our core positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions across key customer segments.
- Translate features into persuasive benefits and customer outcomes.
- Develop personas, JTBD insights, and competitive narratives.
- Provide market and competitive insights to inform packaging strategies.
