The Team:
Upstart’s Growth team is focused on delivering a seamless loan application experience, enabling customers to effortlessly discover and access Upstart’s financial products. By crafting exceptional, customer-centric experiences, this team is pivotal in establishing Upstart as the go-to destination for consumer credit—fueling growth, boosting conversion rates, and harmonizing Upstart’s product offerings into a unified, multi-product marketplace.
As a Senior Product Designer on the Growth Design squad, you will influence how customers interact with Upstart beyond their initial application, concentrating on the moments and touchpoints that cultivate trust, encourage ongoing engagement, and foster long-term financial confidence. You will define experience strategies, lead user research, and design intuitive, insight-driven experiences across mobile and responsive web platforms, helping customers understand, manage, and revisit Upstart’s offerings. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing teams, you will balance experimentation with a cohesive long-term vision, creating experiences that enhance retention and loyalty.
