About the Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to become a key player in the Foxglove design team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, engineers, and product managers to optimize and scale our web and desktop applications while significantly enhancing the user experience.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of product design activities, including user experience (UX) research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping. You will gain comprehensive insights into Physical AI, encompassing machine learning, computer vision, robot learning, and language models, while championing our core users—software engineers working on autonomous systems that can perceive, act, and collaborate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Design seamless end-to-end user experiences for tools utilized by robotics engineers in the development and testing of robots at scale.
Cultivate a profound understanding of the people, workflows, and tools that robotics engineers depend on to expedite development and testing processes.
Utilize usability insights to inform your engagement across a comprehensive solution spectrum.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Technical Program Managers to establish requirements and translate them into impactful solutions.
Lead the design process to plan, scope, define, and deliver high-quality, responsive interfaces that comply with accessibility standards.
Create prototypes to explore potential solutions and gather constructive feedback on design iterations.
Partner with engineers to ensure the feasibility and high-quality delivery of your solutions.
Actively solicit feedback to uncover strategic gaps and opportunities for enhancing user experience through continuous discovery.
