As a Senior People Advisor for Austria, you will take charge of the comprehensive management of all HR operations, assuming end-to-end responsibility for all people-related matters. This includes the local implementation of global people initiatives, culture, values, and engagement agendas, ensuring compliance with global guidelines as well as local laws and regulations, facilitating local learning initiatives, and advising and supporting leaders and employees. You will ensure the efficient and effective provision of services and programs to support the organization’s objectives.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
Ensure seamless collaboration with divisional people partners, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and People Operations; contribute to processes and workflows where relevant, and actively drive change within the people teams. Work closely with Talent Acquisition to identify talent and build relationships with local stakeholders for recruitment. Collaborate with the People Counsel Team as needed.
Act as a point of contact and country subject-matter expert on labor law and employee-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Advise leaders and employees on HR policies, processes, and legal matters to ensure compliance and foster positive employee relations.
Oversee the physical onboarding and offboarding of new employees on-site, working closely with leaders, the talent acquisition team, local IT support, and the respective divisional partner.
Manage payroll, employment contracts, and associated documentation. Collaborate with local institutions such as labor market services and health/social/pension insurance providers. Ensure that all data is maintained accurately and timely according to contracts and requirements, including communication to local payroll (e.g., changes in positions/cost centers, salary increases, updating personal data).
Continuously monitor national, regional, and local labor regulations. Ensure that HR policies, processes, and practices comply with applicable legal requirements. Collaborate with compliance and risk management to ensure data integrity and implement relevant training. Responsible for adhering to health and safety requirements and building local competence in this area.
