YOUR MISSION
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Imaging Systems Engineer to join our Payloads team, reporting to the Electro-Optical Systems Engineering Manager. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the technical authority for the design of cameras, focal planes, and sensing elements within our EO/IR imaging systems, covering visible, near-IR, and infrared wavelengths. You will oversee the entire signal chain from photon collection through detector readout, data transfer, and electrical design—ensuring our imaging payloads achieve the performance, reliability, and affordability essential for operational spacecraft. You will possess extensive hands-on expertise in focal plane array technologies, detector electronics, and imaging system characterization, thriving in a dynamic environment where you can take initiative and drive results from concept to on-orbit operation.
