As a member of Wabtec's Digital Technology team, you will play an integral role in enhancing our mission-critical database and Oracle EBS solutions, reporting directly to the Vice President of DI, Database & Enterprise Tools.

What We Require:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Over 10 years of practical experience managing enterprise Oracle environments (12c or higher)
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle 19c administration and its associated tools
- Demonstrable experience in implementing Oracle 19c GRID/RAC architecture on RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Strong proficiency in SSH/KSH/BASH scripting
- Advanced expertise in Data Guard (including switchover and debugging)
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS and OCI
- Understanding of Oracle security best practices and patching methodologies
- Solid grasp of Oracle performance tuning and operational support best practices
- Operations mindset with experience in ITSM implementation at scale
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the installation, upgrade, configuration, tuning, debugging, and patching of all Oracle 19c technology stack components, including Oracle GRID, ASM, Clusterware, and database instances.
• Supervise installation, upgrade, configuration, tuning, and debugging of Oracle DataGuard.
• Monitor and optimize Cloud databases and related components.
• Regularly assess and enhance Oracle EBS performance, including patching and tuning.
• Monitor database performance, space utilization, and proactively identify issues to maintain database availability.
• Manage the installation, upgrade, configuration, and patching of Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c.
• Handle Oracle pluggable database configurations using 19c.
• Design, implement, and maintain database security infrastructure.
• Provide architectural evaluation and integration skills to support COTS and/or custom products within the Oracle database framework.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions to ensure continuous application availability.
